Earth Mother will be an online fine art collection focusing on sustainable art practices, and showcasing works in which 50% or more of the work consists of found, recycled or reused materials. Earth Mother will include all art forms and genre’s and must exemplify society’s need for smarter living habits and viable methods for waste solutions.

Accepting all fine art submissions that clearly employ and represent the theme of using found, recycled or reused materials. Artists must note in detail how their work fits in with the theme and which materials are found, recycled or reused. Eligible media include, but are not limited to: drawing, painting, mixed media, oil/chalk pastels, block/ink print, pottery/vessels, sculpture, assemblage, collage, metal work, jewelry design, fiber/textile art, art installation, wood work, furniture design and contemporary craft. If a genre, medium or material you specialize in is not listed, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to provide specifics about your work. Submissions are open to local, regional, national and international artists.
NUMBER OF ENTRIES + APPLICATION FEE
Each artist is limited to six (6) images per submission. There is a $10 (USD) non-refundable/non-transferable fee, for up to six (6) images. Payments must be submitted online at the time of application. Deadline to submit work is March 27, 2019.
ARTIST NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Accepted artists will be notified no later than March 30, 2019 via their provided email.
Each piece will have the artist’s contact and website information displayed for buyers. Artists are responsible for their own sales. Should an interested party inquire about a piece, the artist will be notified with the buyer copied.
Envisions Arts will announce one Best In Show for the exhibition. Winner will be emailed a certificate of Best In Show, and will have a featured article with up to six images, complete with Q&A, in our own online arts publication, Envisions Arts Magazine.
Envisions Arts Founder / Director, and Dallas-based artist, Ginger Cochran has curated, or served as a juror, for numerous group or collective exhibitions throughout north and south Texas, as well as Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada. She has a passion for the emerging artists’ sense of community and strives to create opportunities for all artists to network and build working relationships with other artists, clients, industry leads and persons of influence on their careers.
The exhibition will be publicized locally, regionally and nationally via our social media platforms, email, and press release. Envision Arts reserves the right to use photographs and/or digital images of any accepted work for the purpose of publicity for either the exhibit or the artist.
