“…a visual exploration of the dualistic and converging elements of logic and emotion, chaos and control. “ - the artist
Arianna Fisher is a mixed-media artist with a penchant for all things symmetrical. Her love affair with art developed at her parent’s dining room table, where her mom would unfurl rolls of butcher paper to keep her and her three siblings busy and creative.
Over time she has experimented with a number of different styles and materials, shifting from pen mandalas, to cut paper mosaics, to more fluid media; all while holding onto elements of meditative line work and symmetrical patterns.
Her most recent work involves reclaimed wood pieces that she sands, burns, and then layers with geometric line and dot work and alcohol ink configurations.
She uses her art as a visual exploration of the dualistic and converging elements of logic and emotion, chaos and control. In her own beautifully chaotic world of living with her siblings and closest friends, she shuts the door at the end of the day to food fights and dance offs with a pen and a ruler as a means of processing and reflecting.
