“I love a challenge and am always excited to see what the next painting is going to be.” - from the artist
Naomi Butler, a self-taught artist, is known for her wonderful use of color, style and different techniques to create her paintings. The use of rich hues artistically capture the simplistic beauty of her contemporary creations.
Naomi’s newest artwork series titled “Subtle Hints” are wispy and soft which was inspired by a potential client’s ideas. This new artwork is wired so it can be hung either vertically or horizontally. More large 60” x 48” “Subtle Hints” paintings will be on their way to the easel, along with some smaller versions.
Her “Choices” series pair together in a superb way using textures and a reverse effect seeing unique and exciting patterns with the random-ness of the design. These 48” x 36” paintings paired together create a 4’ x 6’ diptych making it an awesome way to color a medium to large wall. Many different colors will be shown in future “Choices” paintings.
The “New Directions” series is a way of letting go and seeing what happens with different color schemes and lines. “New Directions #1” is also wired so it can be hung either vertically or horizontally which makes it awesome to change from time to time.
When you turn abstract art in different directions you have “new” art all of the time, which makes it even more fun to purchase abstract art.
Never formally trained, Naomi has a natural talent that continuously evolves over the years and becomes more complex with the many layers and depth of each new painting. Her focus is to have fun and most of her works show that consistently and is expressed through the colors, compositions and textures. She loves experimenting with color and texture and has developed a style that is uniquely her own.
“I love a challenge and am always excited to see what the next painting is going to be.” Naomi has a faithful following that loves her art.
