“My aim is to tell multiple stories in each and every one of my pieces …” - the artist
I want my work to leave a trail of my existence in this world. To achieve this, I draw inspiration directly from my environment.
I source all of my materials either from magazines and paper clippings from my neighborhood, or textiles and fabrics from used clothing stores.
My aim is to tell multiple stories in each and every one of my pieces, while referencing either my surroundings or state of mind. I want my audience to have a strong reaction to my work, encouraging them to connect the dots in each piece, or collective.
“Collage allows me to paint a full picture using unrelated parts, and funky combinations.” - the artist
